Justice BARRY delivered the opinion of the court.

Defendant was charged with misdemeanor unlawful use of weapons (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 24-1(a)(4)). After a jury trial, he was found guilty as charged and sentenced to one year's probation. Defendant appeals his conviction on the ground of ineffective assistance of counsel. We affirm.
