After a jury trial, defendant-appellant, Dale Kramer, was convicted of one count of distribution of marijuana, in violation of Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-416(1)(a) (Cum.Supp. 1986), which subsection was later amended in an immaterial manner. See § 28-416(1)(a) (Reissue 1989). Defendant was sentenced to a term of 18 to 24 months' imprisonment.
