Rose Nell McKee appeals from a judgment of the district court1 denying her claim against Federal Kemper Life Assurance Company for a penalty and attorneys' fees provided under Ark.Stat.Ann. § 23-79-208(a) (1987)2 for failure to pay life insurance benefits within two months of receipt of the proof of loss.3
