Following a bench trial in the circuit court of Du Page County, defendant, Michael M. Steiger, was convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1987, ch. 95½, par. 11-501) and was sentenced to 10 days in the county jail, one year's probation, and was fined $300.
