Appellant Lam Kwong-Wah was convicted after a trial by jury of one count of conspiracy to distribute heroin and to possess heroin with the intent to distribute, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a) and 846, and of one count of attempted distribution of heroin, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a), 841(b)(1)(A)(i), and 846.
