On the application of the state we grant certiorari in order to consider the validity of the trial court's grant of defendant's motion to suppress evidence.

What the police considered as a reliable informant told them narcotics sales were taking place out of a residence at 5112 Dauphine. On November 14, 1990, the police conducted a surveillance of the residence. They witnessed a number of vehicles and individuals approach the residence...
