The appellant, Alice Marie Snead, was convicted in a bench trial for a third offense of willful concealment of merchandise under Virginia Code §§ 18.2-103 and 18.2-104. On appeal, she raises four questions: (1) whether the evidence was sufficient, as a matter of law, to prove that she intended to convert the merchandise involved to her own or another's use; (2) whether there was sufficient evidence of a "willful concealment" of merchandise...
