This unemployment discrimination action has been brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., and 42 U.S.C. § 1981. The plaintiff, a black male, alleges that he was denied reassignment to light duty work despite an injury to his back and was terminated because of his race as well as in retaliation for filing two charges of discrimination with the Equal Employment...
