The defendant, James T. Randel, was charged by bill of information with purse snatching. La.R.S. 14:65.1. A jury found him guilty of attempted purse snatching. La.R.S. 14:27, 14:65.1. Prior to sentencing, he was charged by a second bill of information as a second felony offender to which he pled guilty. La.R.S. 15:529.1. The trial court sentenced him to 10 years at hard labor. Randel now appeals alleging insufficient evidence to justify the guilty verdict...
