Defendant, Gregory Toran, pleaded guilty to the offense of theft (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 16-1(a)(1)(A)) pursuant to a negotiated plea agreement and was sentenced to a term of 30 months' probation.
