The State appeals from an order of the circuit court suppressing the evidence against defendant, Darrell Simmons. Defendant was charged with possession of a substance containing less than 15 grams of cocaine (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 56½, par. 1402(b)). He filed a motion to suppress the evidence, which was denied.
