Justice SLATER delivered the opinion of the court:

The defendant, Mark Munn, appeals his eight-year sentence for four burglary convictions (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 38, par. 19-1). We affirm.

The record shows that the defendant entered an open plea of guilty to four counts of burglary. At the guilty plea hearing, the court admonished him as required by Supreme Court Rule 402 (134 Ill.2d R. 402). In particular, the defendant was informed that he was eligible...
