Defendants, Elijah Stanciel and Violetta Burgos, appeal from their convictions of murder of a three-year-old child, Electicia Asbury, who was Burgos' daughter ("the child"). Stanciel argues on appeal that: (1) he was illegally arrested; (2) his 6th Amendment right to confront witnesses against him was violated by the trial court's consideration of co-defendant Burgos' statement in finding him guilty of murder...
