Defendant pleaded guilty to two counts of vehicular homicide, a violation of La.R.S. 14:32.1, reserving the right to appeal the denial of his motion to suppress. On the first count, defendant was sentenced to serve five years at hard labor and pay a fine of $3,000, plus court costs. On the second count he was given the same sentence.
