Defendant, Norman Bosek, was charged in a four-count indictment with the offense of first degree murder (Ill.Rev.Stat.1987, ch. 38, par. 9-1). Following a jury trial, defendant was found guilty of second degree murder (Ill.Rev.Stat.1987, ch. 38, par. 9-2). Defendant was sentenced to serve a term of six years' imprisonment in the Illinois Department of Corrections with a credit for time served. Defendant appeals...
