Plaintiff Martha Moore brought an action against various defendants for personal injuries she sustained at the Cumberland County Fair in 1985 when she was trampled by a horse which had broken through a draw gate and left the racetrack during a race. Default judgment was entered against defendants Holsapple, Thomas and Hutchison. Prior to trial, two other defendants, a jockey, Lindel Ray Wells, and a horse owner...
