Joseph Petrelle appeals the dismissal of his age discrimination claims against his employer, Weirton Steel Corporation, brought under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 621-634 (1988). After a jury verdict was returned in favor of Petrelle, the magistrate judge, who conducted the trial by the consent of the parties, granted Weirton Steel's motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict...
