The defendant, LeRoy A. Andersen, was convicted by a jury of two counts of sexual assault of a child, in violation of Neb.Rev. Stat. § 28-320.01 (Reissue 1989). Following a presentence investigation and evaluations ordered by the court, Andersen was determined to be a mentally disordered sex offender whose disorder is nontreatable.
