Pursuant to verdict, defendant-appellant, David E. Santos, was adjudged guilty of first degree sexual assault, in violation of Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-319 (Reissue 1989). After being found not to be a mentally disordered sex offender, he was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of not less than 8 nor more than 10 years.
