MEMORANDUM OPINION

LEVI, District Judge.

This matter was heard on November 21, 1990, on plaintiff's application for appointment of a temporary receiver. Erica Grubb, Esq., appeared on behalf of New York Life Insurance Co. ("New York Life"). Despite notification by plaintiff, no appearance was entered on behalf of any defendant. For the reasons discussed below, the court approved plaintiff's application for appointment of a temporary receiver.
