The defendant pleaded guilty to five bank robberies and two counts of using a firearm "during and in relation to" two of those crimes. He must receive a guideline sentence for the bank robberies and a consecutive five year sentence on the first of the two firearm pleas. The question is whether the second firearm plea is "his second or subsequent conviction" under the firearm statute, which would carry a mandatory twenty year...
