Plaintiff Marilyn B. Cowhey brought this legal malpractice, misrepresentation and breach of contract action against defendant Bernard Ostrowsky, her former attorney. Following Ostrowsky's failure to file an appearance or answer the complaint, the trial court entered an order finding Ostrowsky in default. Subsequently, a default judgment was entered against Ostrowsky and in favor of plaintiff in the amount of $150,000...
