SHORTESS, Judge.

Tammy Malbrough (plaintiff) was injured in an automobile accident which occurred on July 26, 1985, in Houma, Louisiana. She sued the owner and driver of the other vehicle and their insurers, as well as her own uninsured motorist carrier, Hartford Casualty Insurance Company (Hartford).1 Her husband, Tommy Malbrough (Malbrough), joined in the suit claiming property damage and loss of consortium.2
