Appellants Arturo and Leroy Barrera were jointly indicted for the aggravated assaults of Robert, Ruben, and Roland Camareno. By three counts, the indictment alleged that appellants intentionally and knowingly caused serious bodily injury to the Camarenos by stabbing them with a knife used as a deadly weapon.
