The Attorney General filed suit on behalf of the Inspector General of the State of Louisiana (State) against Nicholls College Foundation and the Foundation president, Donald Peltier, (Foundation) to obtain a court order to allow the examination of the Foundation's records pursuant to the Public Records Act, LSA-R.S. 44:1, et seq.
