Alfred A. Gallant, Jr., appeals from his convictions in the Superior Court (Oxford County, Delahanty, C.J.) after a jury found him guilty of attempted murder, 17-A M.R.S.A. §§ 152, 201 (1983 & Supp.1990), and aggravated assault, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 208 (1983).
