The defendant, Edward R. Sanford, was charged with and, at the conclusion of a non-jury trial, convicted of attempted rape, indecent assault, and corruption of minors. In response to the defendant's motion, the trial court granted a new trial. The defendant's motion in arrest of judgment was denied.
