This is an original mandamus proceeding brought by Relator Jimmie Cantrell against Respondent, the Honorable Derwood G. Johnson, presiding judge of the 74th District Court, McLennan County, Texas. Cantrell is seeking a writ of mandamus requiring Judge Johnson to vacate his order compelling Cantrell to produce certain documents which Cantrell claims to be protected from discovery by the attorney/client privilege.
