Paul Kevin Pierce pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute 100 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), (b)(1)(B)(viii). At sentencing the district court1 set Pierce's base offense level at 30, increased it by three levels based upon his managerial role in the offense pursuant to Sentencing...
