Christian R. Vaughn (Mother) brought an action seeking leave to remove her minor child (Douglas) from the State of Illinois. David G. Taylor (Father) filed for modification of the judgment of dissolution, seeking a change in custody from Mother to himself. The two petitions were tried together.
