Justice JOHNSON delivered the opinion of the court:

Defendant, Barthold Zwart, was charged by information with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault. (Ill.Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 12-14.) After a bench trial, he was found guilty of two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and sentenced to two concurrent terms of 7 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
