Defendant, Francisco Algarin, was charged with the child abduction (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 10-5(b)(2)), aggravated kidnapping (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 10-2(a)(5)), and aggravated unlawful restraint (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 10-3.1) of an 11-year-old girl.
