On November 30, 1989, the Franklin Circuit Court entered an opinion and order which "set aside and held for naught" the order of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet granting Green Valley Environmental Corporation construction and operating permits for a solid waste landfill in Greenup County.
