This case arises out of a one-car accident which occurred on August 4, 1985. Plaintiff filed suit for damages for extensive injuries he received in the accident. He claims defendant is liable under the theories of strict liability and/or negligence for its failure to properly maintain the roadway and for failing to provide and maintain a shoulder of adequate width.
