The defendant, Larry Nuss, appeals his convictions for violation of Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-517 (Reissue 1989). The defendant was charged in two separate counts that he did "receive, retain or dispose of" stolen property on April 7 and on April 13, 1988. A jury found the defendant guilty and assessed the value of the property received or retained on April 7 at $319.92 and the value of the property received...
