Warren Bolden appeals his conviction by a jury on one count of making telephone threats and one count of assault and battery. He raises two issues on appeal: (1) whether the trial court erred in requiring him to go to trial without the assistance of counsel when he had not waived this right; and (2) whether the trial court erred when it denied his request for a continuance to obtain counsel.
