I. BACKGROUND

This products liability action was initiated by a complaint filed December 30, 1988. Plaintiffs allege that defendants' manufacture and marketing of a faulty engine in a 1979 White Truck Tractor caused the engine to malfunction while undergoing repairs at plaintiff's garage, Fiamingo Moving and Storage. That malfunction allegedly led to a fire which ultimately destroyed the entire garage/warehouse...
