These consolidated cases are actions by former workers at the now-closed Cumberland, Maryland tire plant of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company (hereinafter K-S), in which they assert claims against the corporate parent of K-S, the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (hereinafter Goodyear). The plaintiffs (or their decedents) have all suffered from various physical ills that they blame on exposure to toxic chemicals...
