Randy Scribner (Randy) filed an action in Maine, seeking a divorce from his wife, Patsy Scribner (Patsy). The divorce was granted on the grounds of irreconcilable differences. However, Patsy filed an action of her own in Pearl River County Chancery Court, seeking a divorce on the grounds of habitual cruel and inhuman treatment. The chancellor overturned the Maine decree and granted Patsy the divorce she sought, on the requested grounds...
