This is an appeal arising out of the condemnation of property owned by Leo J. Peirick's, Inc., a truck stop and service center, which was acquired by the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission for the purpose of widening Highway 50 in Franklin County, Missouri. Appellants, the landowners, presented the testimony of the owners, Leo and Rose Peirick. Both testified that, as a result of the taking, their damages were $385,000.00. Appellants also...
