This action involves an intrafamilial dispute over the guardianship of a minor child. (Ill.Rev.Stat.1985, ch. 110½, par. 11-7.) The petitioners, Gene and Glenda Brown, are the maternal grandfather of the minor child and his wife. The respondent, Sharon M. Brown, is the natural mother of the minor child.
