COLLINS, Justice.

Pursuant to 15 M.R.S.A. § 2115-A(1) (1980), the State appeals from the entry of a pretrial order of the Superior Court (Androscoggin County, Bradford, J.) suppressing the State's use of an incriminating passage in the diary of the defendant, Hope Ann Andrei, at the upcoming trial of the defendant for Class A Arson. The Superior Court concluded that admitting defendant's diary in evidence would violate her Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights...
