Clarence Washington was convicted of hindering prosecution in the first degree in violation of Ala.Code 1975, § 13A-10-43, and sentenced to five years' imprisonment. That conviction must be reversed.

Washington was indicted for robbery in the first degree in violation of § 13A-8-41. In the middle of his trial, the indictment was "amended" by agreement of the parties to charge hindering prosecution...
