This is a negligence personal injury suit brought by Joyce LeLeaux, individually and on behalf of her minor daughter, Monica, and by Monica in her own right for injuries Monica suffered on October 10, 1987, while on a school-sponsored band trip. Monica was injured while entering a school bus through the emergency rear exit and the extent of those injuries were hotly disputed at the trial court level. The Le-Leauxs filed suit...
