Plaintiff appeals as of right from a judgment of the circuit court entered in his favor in the amount of $45,000 plus interest accruing from the filing date of plaintiff's complaint, together with applicable costs. We affirm in part and reverse in part and remand this case to the trial court for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
