WEBSTER, J.

Timothy Lee Begin appeals his conviction of vehicular homicide. He contends the trial court erred in admitting two prior felony convictions for impeachment purposes under ER 609(a)(1), because the court did not expressly determine that the convictions were probative of his veracity. We affirm the conviction.
