Fenske Feed and Grain Co. (FFG) appealed from a default judgment entered by the district court in favor of the Dakota Bank and Trust Co. The district court entered default judgment as a sanction for FFG's failure to appear at a scheduled July 10, 1989, pretrial conference.1 See Rule 37(b), NDRCivP.
