This case involves the issue of whether the trial judge erred in granting a motion for a judgment notwithstanding the verdict whereby he reversed the jury's finding that the plaintiffs were in the course and scope of their employment when they were injured in a car accident. Granite State Insurance Company (Granite State) moved for and was granted a judgment notwithstanding the verdict on its third party demand against Fireman's Fund Insurance Company...
