After a bench trial in the circuit court of Cook County, defendant was convicted of criminal sexual assault and robbery. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 38, pars. 12-13(a)(1), 18-1(a).) He was sentenced to a term of 15 years' imprisonment for the criminal sexual assault conviction and a consecutive term of four years' imprisonment for the robbery conviction.
