Aaron Lamont Curtis was tried September 29-30, 1988, on charges of malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. The jury found Curtis guilty as charged and the judge, in accordance with the jury's verdict, sentenced him to ten years in the penitentiary on the charge of malicious wounding and two years for the use of the firearm.
